We are honored to offer a WHOLE child focused, Christ-centered, academic based education that is well-versed in the diverse and unique needs of early learners. In fact our motto and mission emulate the importance of these aspects as seen below.
Motto- Children’s Corner; Paving the way, for every child, through Christ’s love and learning!
Mission- Children’s Corner will prepare the whole child for lifelong service to the glory of God. We will guide children in His Truth, train students in knowledge and skill, and explore His Word to create servants of Christ. “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me, in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Psalm 25:4-5.
Assessments and Curriculum
Children’s Corner will focus on your whole child and will use The Creative Curriculum and the Desired Results assessment as tools to assist in this endeavor. Children will be assessed 3 times per year and these results will be shared with parents at conferences and sent home at the end of the year through the sharing of examples of your child’s daily work and observations. We will combine the curriculum with our own teaching styles in order to create an environment with both student led and teacher directed activities. Our goal is to meet your child where they are and help them learn and grow to fulfill the plan that God has for them. We will allow messy, hands on, and exploratory learning (please be prepared for your child to come home dirty.) Our spiritual beliefs and teaching are consistent with the 16 fundamental truths of Assemblies of God. |

We are a faith based preschool serving children ages 3- 5 located at Faith Lutheran church in Spicer. We offer half day and full day options. Half day classes run from 7:30-11:30. Full day class hours are from 7:30-5:30 with lunches catered from the NL-S school district. Parents may choose what days and the number of days they wish their child to attend from 1 day to 2,3, or 4 days as well as picking the days they wish their child to attend. All classes are taught by a licensed EC teacher.
Children will have the opportunity to learn through play, hands-on activities, exploration, peer interactions, choice activities, problem solving, and a celebration of individual abilities and gifts. A typical day would include: dramatic play, songs and movement, puzzles and manipulatives, science and sensory exploration, large and fine motor activities, snack, story, circle time, kindergarten readiness skills, and outdoor play.
We will offer experiences that reflect the love of God and promote a positive attitude toward learning, school, and new ideas. There is a focus on a weekly bible story with weekly pastor visits as well.

Loving Arms CCC is a fully licensed and accredited early childhood program serving children ages 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten. As an accredited center, we strive to offer the highest quality of care and early learning experiences for children. Our classrooms operate with low teacher-to-child ratios (Infants 1:3; Toddlers 1:5; Preschool 3’s 1:6; and pre-K 4-5’s 1:8).
As a ministry of Vinje Lutheran Church, our faith-based curriculum is incorporated into daily living and learning. Using Creative Curriculum as our foundational structure, teachers provide developmentally appropriate experiences to support a monthly study theme. For example, during a study on dinosaurs, preschool children baked a ‘choco-saurus’ cake which they ate for afternoon snack, learning about science and math through their baking activity.
We have two outdoor play spaces – a large muscle playground for riding tricycles, climbing, sand play and sliding; and a NEW NATURE CLASSROOM to encourage exploration and wonder. Features of our nature classroom include a garden bed, water play area, outdoor musical instruments, climbing stumps, balance beam, and “loose parts” for supporting imaginative play.
